A genuine layer of 18K gold over a brass base shows the same warm lustre and shine as solid gold to the eye, with AAA cubic zirconia stones adding sparkle. Tones run from classic yellow gold to rose and white.

How long it lasts

With everyday care, plating stays bright for a long time. It is not permanent - like any plated finish it slowly thins where it rubs. At Hengdian (HD) Jewelry we plate to 0.1-0.3 micron as our own factory standard, and offer custom thickness on request.

Safe to wear

Our pieces are lead-free and nickel release sits within REACH limits. We do not claim "nickel-free" because plating systems can contain trace nickel; if you have known sensitivity, test a small area first. The base is skin-friendly brass with an even, bonded gold layer.
