How do buyers verify a jewelry factory?

The short answer: verify a factory with evidence, not promises. Ask for four things a real manufacturer can always produce: a matching legal identity and audit trail, a live or dated walkthrough of the production floor, paid samples you can measure yourself, and compliance documents tied to the exact alloy. All four together are the clearest sign of a real factory.

Identity and audit trail

Match the business license, factory address, and invoice to one legal entity. A genuine plant also carries a third-party audit. We hold an SGS factory audit and platform verified supplier status, both independently verifiable.

A walkthrough of the floor

Request a live video call or dated footage of casting, polishing, plating, and quality control. Ask to see plating tanks and inspection benches, not only a showroom. Our team hosts virtual tours of the Shanwei plant, which runs five production lines across fourteen controlled processes.

Sample quality you can measure

Order paid samples and test plating thickness, stone security, and finish with your own gauge. Our house standard is 0.1 to 0.3 micron of 18K gold over brass, a specification we control in-house, not an industry-wide figure, and other thicknesses are available on request.

Compliance evidence for the alloy

Ask for current REACH, CE, and SGS reports and check that they cover the metal you are buying. Our pieces are lead-free, and nickel release is controlled within REACH limits. A report that does not match the product proves nothing.

Capacity and consistency signals

Stock depth, design cadence, and QC structure show whether a factory can repeat quality at volume. We hold more than 40,000 pieces, add over 500 new designs each month, and run a second quality check at our Guangzhou warehouse before dispatch.

Questions buyers ask us

Can I tour the factory remotely?

Yes. We run live video walkthroughs and share dated production-floor footage for buyers who cannot travel to Guangdong.

How do I confirm plating thickness?

Test a paid sample with a coating-thickness gauge. Our standard is 0.1 to 0.3 micron, and custom thicknesses are available on request.

Which documents can you provide?

SGS audit documentation, REACH and CE reports, and material statements for the specific alloy and finish.

Is an NDA available for custom designs?

Yes. Once a custom style is confirmed, we sign an NDA before sharing or producing the design.
